Overview

Smyrna, TN has adopted the 2012 IRC including appendices G, H, J and K and the deletion of chapters 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43 in their entirety. Smyrna, TN Muni. Code § 12-602.

Section R313.1 Townhouse automatic fire sprinkler systems. Delete the first sentence, and replace it with: “An automatic residential fire sprinkler system shall be installed in all townhouses with more than three dwelling units or more than 5,000 gross square feet; regardless of the number of dwelling units”. (The remainder of section R313.1 will remain unchanged.)
