Section R313.1 Townhouse automatic fire sprinkler systems shall be amended by adding #1 to the existing exception, and adding the following exception #2, and exception #3:

   2.  Townhouse structures that contain eight (8) or less dwelling units.

   3.  Townhouse structures eighteen thousand (18,000) square ft. or less of floor space excluding garages.

17.   Section R313.2 One and two-family dwellings automatic fire systems shall be amended by adding #1 to the existing exception, and adding the following exception #2:

   2.  One and two-family dwellings containing 8000 sq. ft. or less of floor space, excluding attached garages and other unenclosed areas.
