Subsection R313.1 of the IRC is amended to read as follows:

R313.1 Townhouse automatic fire sprinkler systems. Where installed, automatic residential fire sprinkler systems shall be installed in accordance with NFPA 13D. (Sprinkler system is not required.)

Subsection R313.1.1 of the IRC is to be deleted.

Subsection R313.2 of the IRC is to be amended to read as follows:

R313.2 One and Two-Family automatic fire sprinkler systems. Where installed, automatic residential fire sprinkler systems shall be installed in accordance with NFPA 13D. (Sprinkler system is not required.)

Subsection R313.2.1 of the IRC is to be amended to read as follows:

R313.2.1 Design and installation. Automatic residential fire sprinkler systems shall be designed and installed in accordance with NFPA 13D. Montgomery, AL Muni. Code § 5-71.
