14. Section [F]903.2 Where Required is hereby amended to read as follows:
[F]903.2 Where Required. Approved automatic sprinkler systems shall be provided in the locations described in this section.

1. In new buildings and structures approved automatic sprinkler systems shall be provided in use group classifications A, B, E, F, H, I, M, R1, R2 and S irrespective of the size of the fire area or occupant load.

2. In existing buildings and structures approved automatic sprinkler systems shall be provided in accordance with the provisions of sections [F]903.2.1 through [F]903.2.12.

3. Additions to any building or structure equal to or exceeding fifty percent (50%) of the gross floor area of the original building construction, as identified on the permit records and construction drawings approved by the village when the structure was first constructed, shall require the installation of an approved automatic sprinkler system throughout the entire existing and proposed building or structure in accordance with paragraph 1 above.

4. Any change in use and occupancy which reclassifies a building or structure or portion thereof to a high-hazard group H occupancy shall require the installation of an approved automatic sprinkler system throughout the entire existing and proposed building or structure in accordance with paragraph 1 above.

5. Approved automatic sprinkler systems in existing building or structures shall be maintained in operational condition and shall be extended into any new construction notwithstanding any change in use which could eliminate the need for sprinkler protection.

15. Section [F]903.3.1.2 NFPA 13R Sprinkler Systems is hereby deleted.

16. Section [F]903.4 Sprinkler System Supervision And Alarms is hereby amended by deleting exception 2.
