St. Louis County, MO adopts the following codes:

• The International Building Code, 2015 edition, including Appendices C (Group U) and H. St. Louis County, MO County Code § 1115.020 (adopted) with amendments found in Chapter 1115.
• The International Residential Code, 2015 edition, including Appendix K. St. Louis County, MO County Code § 1116.020 (adopted) with amendments found in Chapter 1116.
• The International Property Maintenance Code, 2015 edition. St. Louis County, MO County Code § 1110.030 (adopted) with amendments found in Chapter 1110.
• The International Existing Building Code, 2015 edition, including Appendix A. St. Louis County, MO County Code § 1117.020 (adopted) with amendments found in Chapter 1117.

These building codes and ordinances are enforced by the St. Louis County government in the unincorporated areas of St. Louis County. These same codes and ordinances are enforced in municipalities that contract with St. Louis County for Building Plan Review and Building Inspection Services.
