The “Strategies for Resolving a Large Property Loss” course teaches insurance professionals how to adjust a large complex property loss. The module is presented by Richard I. Woolf, Esq., Partner at Baker Sterchi Cowden & Rice, LLC, and Kelly Spangler, Claim Specialist at Great American Insurance Group. The module explores a water loss claim scenario in detail and challenges the student to consider how they would address coverage as additional information is discovered. After completing the course, the attendee will be able to: gather facts following a large complex property loss; build rapport with the insured; request sufficient documentation; address vacancy and asbestos coverage issues; handle inconsistencies in the application; and address complaints about agents. The course is designed for insurance professionals working in the area of property and casualty adjusting.
