Joshua Davis and Mike Rose will break down the intricacies of code upgrade coverage analyses. Code upgrade claims involve more than just reviewing the policy. Claims professionals also have to know and consider the appropriate code. The presenters will help you develop a framework for tackling these types of claims, particularly claims for “substantial structural damage.” Upon completion of this webinar, attendees will be able to:

• define terms in the policy associated with code upgrade requirements;
• specify the vocabulary from the codes and requisites of upgrade analysis; and,
• describe scenarios impacting code updates and investigation of prior damages impacting/ adjustment of property damage claims.
