Overview
The City of Kodiak adopted some 2009 ICC codes and also uses updates from some of its previously adopted legacy Uniform Codes (from ICBO and IAPMO in 1997).

Kodiak adopted the 2012 IRC, locally. Note that adoptions usually come with amendments. So, it is important to review those amendments in addition to the unamended model code.

Comments
The amendments included the removal of IRC Chapter 11, IRC Chapters 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 33 and the insertion of the 2009 Uniform Plumbing Code. The amendments also removed IRC Chapters 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, and 43 and inserted the 2011 National Electrical Code, and other changes as amended.
