Overview

Grant County, Washington, adopted the 2018 International Building Code, including Appendices C, H, and J. Grant County, WA, Muni. Code §14.04.030 (adoption) and §14.04.050 (amendments). Grant County, Washington, adopted the 2018 International Residential Code, including Appendices F, Q, and U. Grant County, WA, Muni. Code §14.04.030 (adoption) and §14.04.050 (amendments). No local adoption of the International Existing Building Code (IEBC) was found in the municipal code; however, Washington adopted the 2015 IEBC, by amending the reference to the IEBC in Sec. 101.4.7 of the 2018 IBC. See PLRBWashington Building Codes, and Grant County, WA, Muni. Existing buildings, meaning buildings that were built in accordance to code at the time of construction, typically merit extra consideration in a current updated code.

No local adoption of Appendix J was found in the municipal code or city website.
