See St. Mary's Code of Ordinances Sec. 203-13. – Modifications to International Residential Code. The 2018 IRC requires ice barrier underlayment if there has been a history of ice barriers forming as indicating by the local jurisdiction in Table R301.2(1). 2018 IRC R905.2.8.7 and R905.1.2. The county modifies The design criteria as follows; ice barrier underlayment is required.
