While no formal online code was located for Keystone, IA, the following was found in their code of ordinances:
155.24 MINIMUM STANDARDS OF RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURES. All structures intended for residential occupancy erected, placed, assembled, or constructed in the City shall comply with the following minimum requirements:

Size. Each such structure shall have a minimum floor area of 800 square feet with a minimum exterior dimension of 22 feet measured on outside of exterior walls, measured at

the narrowest point of such structure. Said dimension shall be exclusive of attached garages, porches, or other accessory structures. The minimum exterior dimension of the structure shall be not less than 22 feet by 36½ feet.

Foundations. All residential structures shall have a continuous and complete frost-protected perimeter. If the structure is a manufactured home outside of a mobile home park, it must be placed on a permanent frost-free foundation system that meets the support and anchorage requirements as recommended by the manufacturer or required by the State Building Code and must be visually compatible with permanent foundation system of surrounding residential structures.
