In Section R301.2.1.3 add the following: For purposes of determining wind loads, the minimum basic wind speed shall be considered as 90 miles per hour; except when referenced documents are based on fastest mile wind velocities, Table R301.2.1.3 shall be used.
In Section R301.2.3 add the following: For purposes of determining snow loads, the minimum ground snow load for design purposes shall be 30 pounds per square foot. Subsequent increases or decreases shall be allowed as otherwise provided in this code, except that the minimum allowable flat roof snow load may be reduced to not less than 80 percent of the ground snow load.
