Monona County, IA has adopted the 2012 IRC with the following Chapters hereby deleted: Chapters 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29 except 2904, 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, and 41. Monona County, IA County Code § 300.10 (IRC adoption and amendments).
Subsection R313.1 of said IRC is hereby amended by deleting said subsection and inserting in lieu thereof (exception remains unchanged): “An automatic residential fire sprinkler system shall be installed in townhouses containing more than 6 dwelling units or in townhouse structures that exceed 14,000 square feet in gross floor area, including all floor areas whether finished or unfinished and all basement areas whether finished or unfinished and including attached garage area.”
