Overview

Starting August 1, 2023, The City of Wheat Ridge will be enforcing the 2023 National Electric Code

Wheat Ridge, CO adopts the following codes:

• The International Building Code, 2018 edition, including Appendices E and I. Wheat Ridge, CO Muni. Code § 5-76 (adopted with amendments).
• The International Residential Code, 2018 edition, including appendices A, B, C, D, F, H, H, J, and Q. Wheat Ridge, CO Muni. Code § 5-85 (adopted with amendments).
• The International Existing Building Code, 2018 edition. Wheat Ridge, CO Muni. Code § 5-90 (adopted with amendments).
• The International Property Maintenance Code, 2018 edition. Wheat Ridge, CO Muni. Code § 5-82 (adopted with amendments).
• The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 edition. Wheat Ridge, CO Muni. Code § 5-80 (adopted with amendments).

Residential Building Code
