After researching, we were unable to locate the building code adoption ordinance.

Maricopa County, AZ adopts the following codes:

• The International Building Code, 2012 edition. Maricopa County, AZ Local Additions & Addenda § 301 (adoption and amendments).
• The International Residential Code, 2012 edition. Maricopa County, AZ Local Additions & Addenda § 302 (adoption and amendments).
• The International Existing Building Code, 2012 edition. Maricopa County, AZ Local Additions & Addenda § 310 (adoption and amendments).

Residential Building Code
