"Effective Litigation Management" is one of nine casualty adjusting sessions offered at the Western Regional Adjusters Conference. Following the session attendees will know how to:
• Evaluate issues involving coverage, duties to insureds with self-insured retentions, choice of counsel, and multiple insureds;
• Identify resources for analysis of liability determinations in complex, multi-party cases;
• Explore authority and resolution methodologies; and
• Examine approaches to avoiding bad faith exposure.
In addition to the casualty session there are 14 property adjusting sessions offered. One of those sessions is "Agricultural and Farm Equipment Losses and Adjustments," with Thomas Powell of BPO Technical Services.
The Western Regional Adjusters Conference convenes Tuesday, June 16, with the opening General Session. The keynote speaker is Kyson Johnson, Prosecuting Team Director for the Texas Department of Insurance, Fraud Division.
The Western Regional Insurance Services Expo, with 97 property and casualty claims service providers, is also featured at the conference.
