Earn CPCU & RPA Credits with PLRB Distance Learning Modules

Online claims education for claims professionals

Claims professionals can earn needed CPCU and RPA Continuing Education credits conveniently online with PLRB's Distance Learning Modules.

Splitting Casualty Claim Files

Employees of PLRB member companies, as well as affiliate member companies, have the exclusive opportunity to continue their professional development through the no fee Distance Learning Module program.

With an ever-expanding catalog, PLRB currently offers 58 online courses that can be taken from the comfort of  home or office at the adjuster's convenience. These modules are free of charge to PLRB member insurers and affiliate member claims service providers.  They are not available to claims professionals not employed by a PLRB member company or affiliate member firm.

Modules are approved for up to 2 hours of credit from CPCU and RPA, and 2 hours of adjuster Continuing Education credit in California, Florida, Louisiana, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wyoming; and 2 hours of Attorney CLE in Florida and Illinois.

Courses are divided into 5 or 6 sections and can be taken in one two-hour sitting or broken up. Each section is followed by a 5-question quiz to highlight what you have learned. PLRB keeps track of each participant's progress so that they can complete segments when your schedule allows.

Module completers are saying...

"This was an excellent course. Explanation of options for successful resolution of high exposure low limits cases with potential state considerations [helped most in this course]." (Settling Multiple Claims with Insufficient Policy Limits)

"The presenter was not dull – it was easier to focus and listen!" (Basic Casualty Claims Handling)

"Listening to the presentation and the recap- really enforces the material learned." (Intentional Versus Negligent Conduct for Casualty Adjusters)
