PLRB's Tim Havlir Promoted
Newest Counsel in Property Legal Department
Tim Havlir has been promoted to Counsel in the Property Legal Department of the Property and Liability Resource Bureau.

In announcing the promotion, PLRB President & CEO Thomas Mallin stated that Havlir's writing clarity and precision, keen analytical ability, and hard work in his previous assignments with the PLRB have combined to prepare him for his new position.
Havlir's most recent assignment was as Database Counsel in the Property Legal Department. In that post he ensured that the PLRB's property legal database was accurately maintained. In addition he created PLRB's Aggressive Contractors state by state compilation, and assisted with the updates of the BP Annotations included in PLRB Search.
His first assignment when he arrived at the PLRB in January 2011 was with the Education and Technical Services Department. Havlir helped prepare and present Distance Learning Modules, as well as the popular Noontime Webinars.
Havlir is an electrical engineer with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois. He earned his law degree from DePaul University, Chicago, Illinois, and is admitted to the bar in Illinois.
The Property & Liability Resource Bureau is a not-for-profit association of property and casualty insurance companies. It is located in Downers Grove, Illinois.
